In line with and fulfilment of the spirit and objectives of the SADC Protocol on the Facilitation of Movement of Persons, Zimbabwe on 03 March 2016 waived entry visa requirement for all SADC nationals, including Angolans entering Zimbabwe for a maximum of ninety 90 days per year for bona fide visit, in accordance with the laws of the country. In reciprocation, Angola in February 2018 effected visa exemption for Zimbabweans (tourists) visiting the country for a period up to 90 days per year. Stay as a visitor in Angola is renewable twice i.e. 30 to 60 days and 60 to 90 days. To extend the stay, visit immigration offices in person with your passport, colour copy of passport, 2 clear passport size photos, application letter stating the reason for extension and an amount of 13000 Kwanzas for application fees. Immigration takes 3 – 4 workings days to process the application. Note, overstaying in Angola attracts a hefty penalty.
